Friday 15th December - Science Day
The whole school took part in Christmas themed science day. They explored how to make crystals, create structures using gumdrops and how to build a sleigh for Santa that could hold 20 presents. In the afternoon the children had a visit from Rocket Rus, who talked about how he helps to build and launch rockets. He brought along a small rocket that the children launched 100 meters into the air!
Thursday 8th February - Music day
The whole school enjoyed a visit from Irie steel pan duo. Each key stage had the opportunity to take part in a music workshop where the children explored how to play the steel pans and dance to some traditional Caribbean music.
